25 Years Later

His original release of Thriller was on November 30, 1982. After a years time, Thriller became the best-selling album of all time. It included soon-to-be mega hits like “Thriller,” “Billie Jean,” “Beat It,” “The Girl Is Mine,” and “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’.” Michael Jackson suddenly became known as the “King of Pop.”

His music video of Thriller soon became the best music video ever. MTV aired the 14 minute music video twice an hour, to meet popular demand. The well-liked music video helped the album, sending it back to number one on the album chart.

Thriller 25 was released in February 2008, and is still prevailing today.
