Go wild for the sequel to Madagascar! Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa has the characters plane crashing into Africa due to low fuel, after they originally intended on going back to New York.

This film casts Ben Stiller as Alex, Chris Rock as Marty, David Schwimmer as Melman, and Jada Pinkett Smith as Gloria. Furthermore, Bernie Mac plays Zuba. Which was one of his last roles, including Soul Men, before he died back in August 2008.

Like it’s predecessor, the sequel Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa has also recieved mixed reviews by critics. However, the ratings have overall increased, with the sequel in the lead. And a third film on the way.

Tom and Jerry Tales is a newer Tom and Jerry show. Tom and Jerry Tales isn’t to be mistaken with the classic Tom and Jerry show. And it is not as good as the classic series.  But this newer Tom and Jerry series is still entertaining. How could it not be with the classic cat and mouse fighting about?

Blu-Ray Sales Pass Over HD-DVD

Blu-Ray sales have been overpassing HD-DVD sales in recent times. So a larger quantity of people are purchasing more Blu-Ray players than to that of HD-DVD players. There was a high-definition format war basically, and on top: Blu-Ray.

Is that suprising? Not really. Some people have stated that they had forseen Blu-Ray to overpass HD-DVD quickly. And their envision was very precise.

High definition is getting more prominent since it’s origin, and there is more of a demand for it. What happened? Well… starting with the early 2000s, it looked as if DVD was going to be the standard video format for quite a while. That prediction was quite defective. High definition came along, and people cherished it.

What is down the road for video in the future? Who knows. As of right now, high definition is in demand. And the ever so popular, Blu-Ray Disc Player. Find a good bargain on one, and acquire it.

It all started with the first movie, Open Season. It was released into theaters in 2006. Then released to DVD on January 30, 2007. It was from Sony Pictures Animation and ran a time of around 83 minutes.

It stars a bear named Boog who lives in a garage, owned by Park Ranger Beth. But after a mule deer comes along, named Elliott, Boog’s life is changed forever. After Elliott gets Boog in a heap of trouble, Boog is forced to live in the woods. After evil hunters come by for open season and try to kill the animals, the animals unite and fight them back.

I have it, and I highly reccommend it too. If you don’t have it already, go ahead and buy it on DVD today.

And then there was the sequel… Open Season 2. It was a direct-to-video release. It was just released on January 27, 2009. Two years after the first one was released to DVD.

The second movie has Elliott falling in love with Giselle. And Mr. Weenie ends up getting kidnapped by a group of pampered pets, who wants to return him to his owners. The woodland creatures must take on a rescue mission to keep their friend with them in the woods.
